Well, I just finished watching Heima, Sigur Ros' dvd documentary of their tour in Iceland, and had to write about it. I just got it in the mail today too. The mailman couldn't fit it in the mail box because I ordered a poster too, so he came right up to the door with it! Anyway, this would be the best place, since I consider their music art, and most of my friends don't appreciate their music as much as I do. Then again, I doubt anyone is on here to read this in the first place.


The film is from Sigur Ros and their shows throughout Iceland. In between each song are bits of interviews from all the band mates about the tour and their feelings on their past world tour. During each song, they cut from the show to the view of the country. Iceland looks like such an amazing place, almost untouched by modern man. It really adds a new layer to the music. I really can't describe it. You'd have to see it for yourself.
